Badass Meadery – a unique name for a unique mead.

Jordan, our head mead maker, or Mazer, has been making mead for almost 12 years. After pitching the yeast into the first batch, he has been hooked, and has wanted to have a small mead making operation of his own.

Several years ago, while Jordan and his wife Laura were visiting some family who had never had mead before, one of the family members remarked after tasting 5 different mead varieties in under 2 hours, “Man, that is some badass mead!” Just then, Badass Meadery was born.

After years of brainstorming for the perfect name, Badass Meadery resonates. It hearkens back to another age, when all manner of badass would gather and share a cup of this fermented honey elixir. It reaches forward to now, beckoning to your inner badass, saying, “Grab a glass; let’s joke, laugh, and enjoy this time together.”
